Seattle, Washington is the home city of Carly, Kayla, Sam, Freddie, and the rest of the group. iCarly isn't actually filmed in Seattle - it's filmed in Hollywood, CA. Carly, Kayla, Sam and Freddie get into a lot of their wild, crazy adventures in Seattle. The Seattle Space Needle can be seen sometimes in iCarly.
A humorous reference to the frequent rainfall in Seattle are made in just a few episodes of the show. During several episodes, a small poster that reads, "I heart Seattle, City of Rain" appears in the halls of Ridgeway, the school the iCarly trio attend. In iWant More Viewers, the rain destroys Sam and Carly's sign. In iCook, Carly opens Ricky Flame's window to bring in some sunlight, only to see it's pouring rain. Carly then says sarcastically, "Oh, Seattle." In iSaved Your Life, just when Carly and Freddie are about to break up, you can hear the rain and thunder, setting the gloomy, sad mood.
