Hate Me, Love Me is a single by the fictional pop artist Ginger Fox. Although it was supposedly a hit, it was very likely the last hit Fox had before her mental breakdown.
In iFix a Pop Star, the single was featured as the #1 most downloaded music video, only surpassed by Wade Collins' Cry Like a Lion (which Freddie put together).
The song was also sung in Freak the Freak Out (an extended movie-length episode of one of Dan Schneider's other Nickelodeon shows, Victorious).
The title is likely based on Britney Spears' song "If U Seek Amy" where she sings "love me, hate me."
Lyrics[]
"Sittin' here without your love
I'm in love, I'm in love
Sittin' here without your love
I'm in love, I'm in love.
Never live without your love
Why can't you see
Here inside of me
Everybody tells me now your love will only bring me down.
down down
down down
downtown
down down
downdown
down down.
Sitting Here without your love
Im in love Im in love
Sittin' here with out your love
I'm in love
I'm in love
Never live without your love
Why can't you see
Here inside of me
Everyboy Tells now your love will only bring me down."
