When it is discovered that the same number of people watch iCarly every week, Carly decides to have a contest to get more viewers. The punishment for the loser is to touch Carly's doorman Lurbert's awful, disgusting wart. Carly and Sam make a banner and try to hold it up in the rain on a popular television series, Seattle Beat, but the rain causes the paint to fade, making it unreadable. Meanwhile, Freddie and Spencer put a flashing sign on the highway, but the sign has technical difficulties and spells "PEE ON CARL, causing many car accidents on the highway. Later, Spencer is brought home by the police, and it is learned that many iCarly viewers sent emails to their friends, getting iCarly more viewers.

Carly and her friends decide to have the iCarly fans send dance clips of themselves. Then, late at night, after falling asleep watching the clips, the three end up having some very strange dreams all about dancing. Sam, dreams about going to school and having to dance to Scottish music, Carly dances with boys in her empty dream apartment, Freddie tries to impress Carly in his dream, and the episode ends with Spencer having the same dream as Carly.

Carly has a huge crush on Jake Crandall, and is excited that he has recently become single and about the possibility that she may get to know him. Jake recognizes her, having watched iCarly before, and Carly invites him to a tour of her apartment. After finding out that he sings and plays the guitar, Carly decides to invite him to perform on iCarly, but Jake is actually not as good at singing as he seems. Freddie helps Carly to change Jake's voice,when he sings live on iCarly . Meanwhile, Spencer makes a plaster cast to put on his sculpture of himself.

Thus, Carly and her friends have to come up with a plan to give them a good and honest review. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to make a sculpture out of butter.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie shoot their Halloween web cast from an apartment room that is rumored to be haunted. When creepy things start happening, the friends worry that the ghost rumors just might be true. A succession of household pets, one of which - Abigail, a complacent orange cat - stars in a scene, and is held by a woman in this episode. Meanwhile, Spencer forgets to buy Halloween candy, and angry children gang up on him.

Carly and Freddie decide to spy on Ms. Briggs and show it on iCarly. To avoid being caught, Carly and Freddie hide in Ms. Briggs' closet. When she catches them, she makes a compromise with them: she won't call the police if they let her play the bagpipes on iCarly. At first, her bagpipes cause iCarly to lose viewers, but then they test out the newly installed green screen behind Ms. Briggs, bringing back their audience.

While doing a blab cam bit on iCarly, Freddie gets a date with a girl named Valerie. They start to like each other and soon she wants to do a web cast the same day as iCarly. Freddie quits iCarly and begins working with Valerie. Production of iCarly goes wrong when iCarly's new technical producer, Jeremy (his nickname is Germy), continuously sneezes into the lens. Things worsen when Valerie invites Sam to come to her web cast.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie want to break a world record for the longest webcast, which has to be longer than 24 hours and 8 minutes. Meanwhile, Spencer builds a sculpture out of all the trash stored in crates. Unfortunately, the power goes out and they don't get to break a world record... but Spencer does, for his most moving parts sculpture. Feeling bad, he decides to allow Carly, Sam and Freddie to attach the last part onto his sculpture, including them in the fame, and Sam gets to meet one of her favorites: the fattest priest.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie find out Plain White T's could perform on their web show after Spencer saves Tom Higgenson's life. However, they have to first save their web cast when it is put in jeopardy by Nevel, who returned, and whose mother is on a cruise. His crazy grandmother watches him.

After Carly gets a B+ on her history paper because her teacher doesn't like 3-hole punched paper, Carly gets upset because she wanted to get straight A's. Because of the history paper grade, she doesn't. After overhearing Principal Franklin's username and password to the school's network, Sam changes Carly's grade to give Carly the straight A's she deserves. After finding out about this, however, Carly feels guilty. Carly tries to change it back, but gets stopped by the police for hacking.

iCarly's biggest fan, Mandy Valdez, becomes the show's first one-kid live audience. However, she begins following the cast incessantly and refuses to leave them alone, which annoys the trio. They try to find out how to get her to stop. Meanwhile, Spencer gets to be a drummer for a rock band, but discovers that the band was using him to play in his house. In the end, Mandy falls for the band, after they dump Spencer, and drives the band insane.

Spencer's art idol, Harry Joyner, gives him much criticism on his three sculptures. To make it up to him, Carly decides to showcase all of Spencer's sculptures on iCarly, but despite the sculptures on the webcast getting many positive comments, Spencer becomes a dental assistant. Carly and her friends try to help him to get back to his old self by convincing Harry Joyner to admit he actually likes the sculptures, while Sam tries to resist the temptation to insult Freddie for a whole week so she doesn't have to pay him $5.00 for each insult. When a dentist pays Spencer to make a sculpture, he splits it with Carly, Sam, and Freddie, and Sam uses the money to insult Freddie.

Sam begins going out with Freddie's friend, Jonah, and the two become inseparable. However, when the relationship begins to affect iCarly, Carly and Freddie decide that they have to do something. Meanwhile, Spencer makes a claymation film. Jonah tries to kiss Carly, and when Sam finds out she asks him to volunteer during the show for a new segment. She pulls him up by his underwear and bounces him up and down in the iCarly studio on the wedgie bounce machine, which is shown live on iCarly itself.

Carly and Sam decide to hatch baby chicks for a science project. But then, the chicks all escape and get lost in the apartment, causing a mad search. They learn that if they don't find the chicks in time, the baby chicks will die. During the search Spencer gets stuck in a vent, which allows him to save the last baby chick.

Carly gives Sam a special T-shirt as a present on their fifth year anniversary of being best friends. Sam then trades it for Cuttlefish concert tickets for Carly and herself which abruptly starts a fight between them. Freddie believes this will badly effect iCarly, so he tries to let viewers decide who's right. Meanwhile, Spencer builds an automatic fish feeder with useless results.

Carly is extremely excited when the popular shoe company, Daka, wants to promote their new shoe, the "Techfoot", on iCarly. But when the shoes turn out to have numerous problems, iCarly begins losing viewers. Meanwhile, Spencer tries new methods of transportation after falling asleep on a bus and ending up in Canada. Spencer luckily manages to help Carly and her friends get out of the contract by putting his three days of law school lessons to work.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie are planning on presenting iCarly's 50th webshow spectacular, but Sam accidentally hits Mr. Howard with a football and gets detention on the same day they were preparing to air the show. As a result, they decide to do iCarly in detention. Carly manages gets into detention, but Freddie can't, so he decides to do filming of iCarly secretly in a closet. Unfortunately, Mr. Howard comes into the room and sees them filming after saying bad things about the principal. Principal Franklin, having watched iCarly, shows up to send Mr. Howard to his office.

The police use the loft as a stakeout to track a clerk from selling pirated DVDs, but seem to be taking too long, and Spencer, while making a cake for Socko's birthday, realizes one of the detectives is his childhood bully from camp. Plus, the stakeout is badly affecting the web cast. Meanwhile, Freddie loses a bet with Sam and must get a tattoo of Sam's face on his left arm, which he tries to hide from his mother, whilst being unaware that it is temporary. Since Carly has had enough of this, she secretly goes undercover to find the criminal clerk, only to find out that he only sells movies about pirates.

Sam and Freddie are upset when Carly is offered a full scholarship to an elite private school. They do not want her to do this because it would mean the end of iCarly. Meanwhile, Spencer creates a miniature golf course.

Freddie joins Spencer to go fencing and have some guy time. When Spencer's rival, the amazing Doug Toter, sees how good Freddie is, Spencer puts Freddie up against him in a match of fencing. Carly is mad at Spencer both for not helping her out during the Dorfmans' visit and fencing, so she stops him from doing it by telling Freddie's mom. Meanwhile, Sam and Freddie have engaged in their bet that if Sam can't finish a book in a week, what happens is unknown, but expected will be something embarrassing to Sam. If Sam can finish a book in a week, the "usual pay up" was involving Freddie sticking a washing hose down his pants with the water turned on to make it look like he urinated in his pants. Sam got interested in books for the first time. It was time to practice for iCarly. Then Sam remembered about the bet, then she told Freddie to pay her. Then Freddie asked for what. Sam told him that she was finished reading the whole book cover-to-cover. Then Freddie asked a question about the book. Then Sam answered it right. Sam won the bet. Then they went to the kitchen, Sam gave the washing hose to Freddie. But Freddie didn't do the pay up immediately, but first he looked at Carly, then Sam, and he asked her if he should put the washing hose down his pants by expression. Then Sam said, yes by expression as well, and so he did. Freddie stuck the washing hose down his pants. After that, Sam turned the water switch on. Now, with the water turned on, it looks like Freddie urinated in his pants. He got embarrassed in front of Carly and Sam. Carly and Sam didn't laugh though. This is one of a few episodes that Freddie gets embarrassed in front of Carly and Sam.

A big time producer wants to make iCarly into a hit T.V. show after seeing how much his daughter loves watching their web show. At first it turned out great because of them getting paid for doing iCarly on T.V., taking rides in the limo, and getting a new band. After the first rehearsal, Carly, Sam, and Freddie started to regret letting the producer make iCarly into a T.V. show because he starts to make bad changes which destroys the quality of the show. The producer decides to get rid of the iCarly band to fit in Zeebo the dinosaur, Sam gets fired for being pushy and aggressive and gets replaced by a not so talented movie actress (Amber Tate), and the producer goes too far with making Freddie do jantitor work. Meanwhile, with the kids at the T.V. studio, Mrs. Benson and Spencer try to fill the void by acting like a family to each other. In the end, after Carly had enough of the changes, she tells the producer that this isn't even iCarly anymore and the producer agrees with her, so Carly got the title back and the producer has something different for Zeebo the dinosaur and the bad movie actress who replaced Sam. He puts them in another T.V. show, which actually turned out to be lame. Meanwhile, since Carly got the iCarly title back, she, Sam, and Freddie change iCarly back to the way it originally was and for the return of the real iCarly, the head of the new iCarly band that the producer got rid of performs his favorite song.

In order to help Gibby get his date, Shannon, who is much more interested in Freddie, Carly opens up a dating segment, which Shannon and her friends volunteered to star in as contestants. But when only Shannon herself appears without her friends, Carly steps in and she finds herself becoming the "lucky" sweetheart for Gibby. This happens because Shannon wasn't picked and Sam, who also stepped in, secretly stepped out and went down to the kitchen to eat food. However, Carly sets Sam up with Reuben and Freddie with Shannon for a triple-date with her and has Gibby act like Freddie to get Shannon interested in him. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to get a girlfriend on whynotdateme.com and makes several videos for the website to try to get a date.But by the end of the show, Spencer got 9 responces. 4 from women in prison, 2 just got out of prison, and 2 for pycoligy.

When Carly, Sam, and Freddie's history teacher, Ms. Ackerman's boyfriend dumps her, she freaks out and becomes abusive to the class. When Spencer is called in for a conference, the two realize they like each other and start dating. However, Spencer soon decides that Ms. Ackerman is totally insane, and he dumps her. Carly set up an iCarly segment to find out whether the two should make up or stay on bad terms as voted by the viewers.

Sam discovers she owes Carly and Freddie $526 and, in order to pay off the money, Sam tries everything including calling for donations from the iCarly fans (yet is stopped by the law), and gets a job at a fast-food restaurant as a cashier. In the subplot, Spencer tries to impress an attractive single mom by helping her daughter, sell fudgeballs. Unfortunately, Spencer gets his first taste of competition.

Carly's doorman, Lewbert, gets injured during an exploding muffin basket sketch. Spencer suggests that Carly, Sam, and Freddie help him until he's back on his feet, but it is much easier said than done. Meanwhile, Spencer's antics on an old CB Radio angers some truckers and a kid he busted seeks revenge by revealing his location to these angry truckers Porkchop and Sledgehammer.

Carly, Sam, and Freddie have been nominated for the international internet award, located in Japan, and travel along with Spencer and Ms. Benson. After arriving to Japan, two teen aged Japanese comedians named Kyoko and Yuki, who are going against iCarly for the iWeb Awards, kidnap Carly, Sam, and Freddie, and dropped them in an unknown location and have Spencer and Ms. Benson tied up in seaweed wraps leaving them there with no help, telling them it will be a seaweed wrap massage. Spencer ate his way out and helped Ms. Benson out, too. Thanks to the chip installed in Freddie's head, Ms. Benson and Spencer find Carly, Sam, and Freddie. When they get to the door of the iWeb Awards, the guards don't speak English and can't understand them. When they get in and try to explain everything to the guards, Freddie films them so that everyone in the audience can see them. Since the audience thought they were really funny, they win the iWeb Award without even knowing about it and Kyoko and Yuki got disqualified for cheating and arrested for kidnapping the kids.

In this take-off of the Christmas classic "It's a Wonderful Life", another one of Spencer's sculptures go wrong, this time seriously. Upset, Carly wishes that her brother was normal, and her guardian angel makes this come true. The result is a wacky world where nothing makes sense.

After Freddie handcuffs Sam to Gibby, in retaliation for putting a dead fish in his locker, Sam sets out for revenge. Later, she overhears a discussion by Carly and Freddie, revealing that Freddie has never kissed anyone, yet her revenge is taken too far when it ruins Freddie's reputation. As a result Sam apologizes to Freddie and Freddie wants to kiss Sam.

Fraud is the theme for this episode. When Carly, Sam and Freddie are offered to host a contest where they are to give away a car, the group is unable to obtain their prize when they find out the contest was just a scheme set up by Nevel. Meanwhile, Spencer buys a prop from a movie online, but finds out that he was simply thinking it was an actual spaceship from Galaxy Wars.

Meanwhile, Sam teaches Spencer to lie when he gets a letter that claims he has a movie that is 10-years overdue.

Meanwhile, Spencer makes a mistake in an order, causing him to end up with 200 pillows.
